“Planet Traxx” aired Sunday nights at midnight on New York’s WQHT (Hot 97). Running from 1989-1994, it was the first electronica show on American commercial radio, and gave the first mainstream exposure to a host of techno and trip-hop acts including Massive Attack, The Shamen, KLF and Blackbox.
